How to Sign Up for SaveCell


Signing up for SaveCell is easy!  Just three simple steps and a minimum of information is required.  The SaveCell application is free to download to your phone.  After you register with the SaveCell Vault - where your contacts will be securely saved every time you add or change one on your phone - it only costs you £1 a month which is charged by sending your phone a Premium Rate text message charged to your existing phone account.  We do not need your name or address or any credit card or debit card details!  It could not be easier......
 

 

 

 

  Step 1:

 

Select your phone from the picture list on the next page. Only certain phones will work with SaveCell and these are all shown in the phone list.

 
  Step 2:

 

Enter the mobile phone number of your cellphone.  SaveCell will send a message to your phone which will contain the link to automatically download and install SaveCell.

 
  Step 3:

 

Once you have downloaded the SaveCell application, register your phone with the SaveCell Vault. 

You're done! Your contacts will now be saved completely automatically.

 

 

 

 

 

 



What do I do after the SaveCell application is downloaded and installed on my phone?

 

You will provide two items which are automatically combined with your phone number and the electronic serial number of your mobile to identify you and your phone:  the first is a Username and the second is a Scramble Key. 

 

Your Username can be whatever you would like as long as you can remember it!  Your Username and your phone number are your login to the SaveCell Help system and to the SaveCell Wipe My Contacts option.

 

Your Scramble Key is important - it is used to scramble your contacts before they are sent to the SaveCell Vault so that no-one but your phone can read them when they are retrieved.  Do not forget your Scramble Key as SaveCell cannot send it to you if you forget it as the service and the SaveCell Vault never see it.  Your Scramble Key is also required for validation purposes when you request the SaveCell Vault to Wipe your contacts if your phone is lost or stolen.

 

Once you have registered after providing a Username and a Scramble Key, SaveCell will automatically save your contacts to the SaveCell Vault.  Then, whenever you add or change a contact, SaveCell will automatically send that new contact or change to the SaveCell Vault without you doing anything or having to remember!
