If I lose my phone abroad can I get my contacts back there onto a new phone?

Yes, as long as you can: download SaveCell onto a Symbian S60 platform phone and  send and receive texts, and you can remember your User Name, original Phone Number and Scramble Key. The SIM you put into your new phone must be one that is from a country that is supported by SaveCell.
