What happens if I delete Contacts from my phone?

The short answer is nothing! The SaveCell application cannot action deletes, because the data items in the SaveCell Vault are scrambled, and so completely unidentifiable. There is no way of correlating a delete request with the SaveCell Vault database, so no means of deleting the correct record.

When a retrieve of Contacts is actioned, all the Contact data is returned. Any exact duplicates in the downloaded information are discarded in the phone by the SaveCell application, after unscrambling and comparison with the Contact data already in the phone. The records are returned in the order in which they were received by the SaveCell Vault, so any amended records will be correct after all the Contacts are received.

If Contact records are returned to the phone for people who are no longer around, that is regrettable, but cannot be avoided.
